She’s the one person who could ruin my revengeI don’t feel. Emotions are for the weak.I left them behind the day cruelty shattered my childhood. Now I live for vengeance. And she’s the perfect instrument to make my enemy suffer…but all I want to do is keep her for myself.I should use her. Destroy her. Before she leaves me vulnerable. Before she makes me feel too much.I know what I need to do.But I can’t let her go.

"I didn't see this book going the way it did. It was a definite surprise. There were some missing words and other typo's, but all in all this was a pretty good story. Wonder who's next in this series?"

Rise Dark and Dangerous Kaye Blue 9781796226348 Books Reviews

  • The character development was meticulously laid out. The relationship between the main characters deepened in a manner that had me hooked, and totally invested in their lives, anxious for the success of their relationship.

I scanned through the erotic scenes because I am way over how lots of erotica (not just books by Kaye Blue), focus on the describing physical sensation of the characters in the scenes, more than the describing emotional connectedness, or including dialogue to draw me in and keep me interested in "watching" entire sexual encounters, over and over again.

5 stars for an unexpectedly intricate plot, characters I loved, and an error-free publication, Kaye Blue. I am close to forgiving you for your last, annoyingly shallow, series of novellas with men's names for titles... but not quite.
  • I really enjoyed this book. I have read almost all of the series Kaye writes and loved each one. The great love between Aras and Lake was wonderful. I look forward to the next book in the series. I am hoping it will be the love story between Ivan and the woman in his bed in Rise. Here's hoping. Thank you for a great read, Ms. Blue. God Bless.
  • I will never get over how the author ignores scenes that would make her book richer. I don’t want to drop any spoilers, but so much could have been hashed our regarding Yuri and Vlad, but alas.... Again, the book isn’t bad, but it is just painfully mediocre with flat character development. I can’t see myself reading the next installment.
  • That was more than I expected. Almost had me thinking things wouldn't go exactly as planned. This was just as exciting as the first book, and we get to see Aras and Lake grow closer together, while struggling with that fact. The ending was fantastic, and I hope we get to see more of these two, Ezekiel and Ivan.
  • I enjoyed the second murderous book. I wouldn't have guessed that Yuri was Aras' father, but it stands to reason. I am glad Lake and Aras got together. I love this murderous book. Who is next? Aras was a prolific killer. Hmm....Scary.
  • I wasn't sure if I would like the split between the books; but part two was spectacular. I loved this story and climax was satisfying; although a little unexpected. Can't wait to see what Ms. Blue has in store for her fans next.
  • Great story kept me interested I wasn't really shocked that about Yuri that made sense. I wondering if Yuri and Ivan will have
a brotherly relationship. I hope the next story will be Ezkikiel story
  • I didn't see this book going the way it did. It was a definite surprise. There were some missing words and other typo's, but all in all this was a pretty good story. Wonder who's next in this series?
